Mustard Greens and Pumpkin Dreams
Only 105 days until we open our gates and get to see that beautiful sea of orange once again! How is it mid-May already?! Time just keeps flying by.
May is such a special month here in the North Georgia Mountains. The hills are bursting with green, wildflowers are popping up in the fields, and the joyful sounds of kids playing in the creek fill the air. We love this season—don’t get us wrong!—but we can’t help but daydream about the crispness of autumn, cozy sweaters, hot coffee, and the sweet smell of pumpkin rolls filling the barn.
So, tell us: Are you Team Summer or Team Fall? 🌞🍁
Farm Update:
The mustard we planted this spring is really taking off! It won’t be long until we turn it under to act as a natural fumigant, preparing the soil for our pumpkin seeds. We’re loving how this low-impact farming method is working so far—sustainable, effective, and good for the land. Stay tuned to see how we plant our pumpkins!
