The Story of Easter: New Life, New Hope
At Burt’s Pumpkin Farm, we spend much of the year with our hands in the dirt, watching the seasons turn. Winter quiets the land, but spring always follows—bringing new life, green leaves, and the promise of growth. It's a rhythm we trust, one that reflects the greatest truth we know: the story of Easter.
Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified on a cross. Though He was without sin, He took on ours—out of pure, undeserved love. He died and was buried, and for three days, the world held its breath.
But early that Sunday morning, everything changed.
The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty—Jesus had risen. Just as He promised, death had been defeated. Life had the final word.
Each spring, as the soil wakes up and new life begins again on this farm, we’re reminded of that miracle. Easter isn’t just a moment in history—it’s a living promise. A reminder that no matter how dark the season, hope is never lost.
From all of us at Burt’s, we pray you feel the joy and peace of His resurrection this Easter season.
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6
