A Mid-January Update from the Farm ❄️🌱
Wherever you are, we hope you’re staying warm! We’ve got a winter storm rolling in this week, and if the forecasts are right, we might even see a little snow at the farm. There’s just something special about Burt’s under a fresh blanket of white—it’s quiet, peaceful, and reminds us how beautiful this land is in every season.
Snow on the Farm
If you missed it, our winter rye cover crop is really starting to shine.
Rye is our favorite winter cover crop—not just because of how well it replenishes nutrients in the soil, but because it brings a pop of green and life to the fields during the coldest, grayest months of the year. Seeing something so lush in the dead of winter is a reminder that growth is always happening, even when it’s quiet.Make it stand out

Happy 54th Birthday! 🎃
Our farm is turning 54. What began as a dream that many people laughed at has grown into one of the top agricultural businesses in North Georgia, a family-trusted tradition, and a place that has brightened millions of porches every fall.
We want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our founders: Johnny and Kathy Burt. These 2 dreamed big, trusted one another, and...most importantly…put their faith in the Lord’s plan. We are forever grateful for the foundation they built and the legacy they continue to inspire.
Here’s to 54 years of hard work, faith, family, and farming….and to many more seasons ahead. 🎃🤍
