Nothing is Sweeter Than Burt’s Pumpkin Pie 🧡
As Thanksgiving arrives, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Every visit, every hayride, every pumpkin picked from our fields this year reminded us just how special our Burt’s community truly is. We are thankful for you! Your support, your traditions, and the joy you bring to our farm season after season.
Even though the 2025 pumpkin season has wrapped, nothing is sweeter than knowing one of our pumpkins will be part of your holiday table. And because no Thanksgiving is complete without a slice of homemade goodness… we’re sharing something extra special.
The Burt Family’s Famous Pumpkin Pie Recipe
A Burt’s classic — simple, cozy, and made with love.
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 eggs
3 tablespoons flour
½ stick butter
1½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cloves
1 pie shell
Instructions:
Mix sugar and flour together. Add cooked pumpkin, milk, eggs, and butter. Combine spices with the flour mixture. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour into a pie shell and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
We hope this recipe brings warmth to your kitchen and sweetness to your Thanksgiving gathering, just like it has for our family for generations.
From all of us at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm, we wish you a holiday filled with gratitude, good food, and the people you love most. Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to welcome you back when the farm reopens September 2026 for a brand-new pumpkin season.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Warmest Regards,
The Burt Family & the Entire Burt’s Pumpkin Farm Team
