Fall Has Arrived at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm!
Wow—what an incredible opening weekend at Burt’s! The crisp mountain air in North Georgia finally gave us a taste of fall, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season. Everywhere we turned, there were smiling faces, excited kids, and families making memories together. We’ve missed you all so much, and it felt amazing to welcome everyone back to the farm.
We were even lucky enough to have Fox 5 Atlanta join us to showcase the pumpkins and share the joy of the season. From their report, one thing is clear: pumpkins are back in Dawsonville, and this fall feeling just might be here to stay! (if you missed it: catch it here!)
Pumpkins of Every Shape and Size
Whether you’re searching for a giant pumpkin to show off on your porch, a classic jack-o-lantern, or a basket of smaller gourds for your table, we’ve got you covered. Rows and rows of bright orange pumpkins are waiting for you—plus a few surprises in unique colors, shapes, and sizes.
When Fox 5 asked Johnny Burt which variety was his favorite, his answer came quick: “The blue ones—the Blue Doll! They make great bisque. Can’t beat it!” Whatever your style, you’re sure to find the perfect pumpkin to take home.

Food, Fun, and Family Time
Of course, it’s not just about pumpkins. Opening weekend reminded us how much fun it is to gather around good food and treats. From our savory BBQ to our famous pumpkin roll, there’s something delicious for everyone. And don’t forget the kids (and grandkids!)—we’ve got plenty of family-friendly fun to keep the little ones smiling.
Fall is about more than just cooler weather—it’s about connection, tradition, and making memories together. That’s exactly what you’ll find when you visit Burt’s Pumpkin Farm.
